PRODUCTS / NOISE CONTROL

Main sales agent Pyrotek Soundguard noise control materials.

The company's noise control products have a common goal, it is to reduce the disturbing noise caused by vibration and response.  It has a wide range of applications, including marine industry for the hull, bulkhead, engine room and the floor. Other applications include cars, bottom of trucks and buses, fence panels, metal warehouse roof, bulldozer and other earth moving equipment, wood or metal floors, air conditioning, automatic doors, flooring and panels, large house appliances, pools, fences around generators

§ DAMPERS § Damping material
Damping Compound SOUNDPAINT SP150

Soundpaint SP150 is a water-based damping compound of synthetic resin and fillers suitable for spraying or troweling onto surfaces to eliminate vibration noise. It works on a wide variety ofmaterials, egmetal, plastic and
timber.
Soundpaint SP150, tested in accordance with and complies to IMOA653-16 standard, is ideally suitable for applying in 2mm thick coats to achieve the required thickness, requiring only 15 minutes drying time between
applications. It can be applied to areas such as car, truck or bus underbodies, enclosure panels, metal deck roofs, heavy earthmoving equipment and timber or metal floors, and is ideal in applications where damping of heavy gauge metal is required such as boat hulls, bulk heads, deckheads, and flooring.

SOUNDPAD V2SC Vibration Damping Sheet
Soundpad V2SC comprises of a foil faced highly flexible extensional damping material with a peel and stick layer on the contact surface. Soundpad V2SC has been designed to dampen and reduce the vibration and sound transmission in light gauge metal, timber, and plastic structures, thereby stopping the tinning and ringing noise created by the noise source.
Soundpad V2SC is a highly effective damping pad ideal for reducing vibration and increases the transmission loss of the noise produced by the surfaces resonating at their operating cycle, such as in air conditioning units, automotive door, floor and headlining panels, white goods industry, sinks, generator enclosures, metal deck roofs and light weight panels in boats. Also available isSoundpad V4SC, which is a higher mass per squaremetre damping pad.

SOUNDSTEEL MPM Noiseless Steel
Soundsteel MPM is a fully damped steel in the form of a metal / visco elastic / metal sandwich produced on the constrained layer principle. It's function is to damp disturbing structure-borne sound and vibration. Soundsteel has been tested in accordance with AS 1530.1 and is deemed as non-combustible. The metal sheets are cold rolled low-carbon electro-galvanised steel and other metals such as aluminium and stainless can be utilised. A layer of visco elastic
thermoplastic joins the two sheets to formthe plastic laminate.
Soundsteel MPM is used primarily in the marine industry and where space is limited and high acoustic performance is required. Applications include engine rooms, enclosures, ducting, walls, doors, chutes, hoods and in severe environments which othermaterials cannot withstand.

SOUNDPAD SA27 Composite Damping Material

Soundpad SA27 is a combination of a highly flexible damping sheet and a highly absorbent acoustic foam. The combination of the two materials allows the reduction of vibration noise and reverberation, and also absorbs any airborne noise generated within the structure.
Using Soundpad SA27 increases the transmission loss of the noise produced by the surfaces resonating at their operating cycle, thereby stopping the tinning and ringing noise created by the noise source such as light gauge metal, timber, and plastic structures, in air conditioning units, automotive door, floor and headlining panels, white goods industry, sinks, generator enclosures, metal deck roofs, boat hulls, bulk heads and engine rooms.

SOUNDPAD MP2 Vibration Damping Sheet
Soundpad MP2 outperforms conventional damping products due to the use of a constraint layer principle. Soundpad comprises of an aluminiumsheet bonded to a highly flexible polymer with a self adhesive backing. The combination of a rigid aluminium skin and the flexible polymer gives MP2 superior damping performance.
SoundpadMP2 is ideal for reducing vibration and increases the transmission loss of the noise produced by the surfaces resonating at their operating cycle, such as in air conditioning units, automotive door, floor and headlining panels, white goods industry, sinks, generator enclosures, metal deck roofs, boat hulls and bulk heads.

SYLOMER Vibration Isolation

Sylomer - the special PUR-Elastomer by Getzner - is used in its cellular or compact formformany applications in civil engineering andmachinery. Inmost of them, Sylomer is used as an elastic interlayer like a spring. The characteristics of
this spring can be adapted to the need of application and of the construction, or the construction method by selecting the Sylomer type - including Sylodamp and Sylodyn, the thickness and the loaded surface area.
Sylomer materials are produced in a continuous process. They are available as strips up to 1.5m wide and are therefore especially suitable for elastic coverings with large surface area. Densities range between 150 kg/m and 680 kg/m . For
special applications, separate types are fabricated with specifically adapted density or cross linking, as well as the compactmaterial. Concrete can be poured directly ontomost Sylomer products.
The fine cellular structure allows for the necessary deflection when loaded statically or dynamically. So that elastic bearings with full surface contact and low power transmission density become possible. This is a big advantage concerning construction, design and economy, especially in civil engineering.

SOUNDLAG
Soundlag reduces waste pipe noises by a huge 25 dB(A). It’s the first pipe wrap developed into an installation system from National Acoustics Laboratory's test results to meet Australian Building Code’s RW 45.

Using lighter weight-loaded vinyl than other pipe lagging methods, Soundlag 4525C is the most cost effective, long lasting and easy to install method of meeting the Code. With just three steps: cut to size, wrap it around, and tape it on, you’ll find installation quick and easy.

WAVEBAR Flexible Noise Barrier
Wavebar® flexible noise barrier is the easiest and most effective means to reduce noise through walls, floors and ceilings in buildings, automobiles, trucks, boats and ships. Wavebar provides ideal performance in muffling explosions and reduces environmental noise from jack-hammers, drilling rigs and pile drivers, even in open cut and tunnel mining operations. Wavebar is a specially engineered material consisting of a mineral loaded polymer supported by a reinforcing fabric. The limp, flexible nature of Wavebar, combined with its high mass, provides a resonance free barrier to both low and high frequency noise. The internal damping characteristics of Wavebar make it especially suited to use in stiff structures where coincidence and resonance effects are a concern.

SILENTSTEP Ground Pad
SILENTSTEP® is a high performance, acoustic carpet underlay that offers excellent support for all types of carpet and provides significant reduction in transfer of airborne and impact noise between floors when laid on most types of flooring. It is especially well performed on lightweight flooring materials such as timber, fibreglass and composite panel materials.

SILENTSTEP uses a decoupled mass barrier approach and is composed of flexible, high mass (4kg/m2) noise barrier, based on Wavebar® technology, laminated to a layer of high performance 8mm thick, decoupling foam.

§ ABSORBERS §

SORBERFOAM

SORBERFOAM™ is a combustion modified, hydrolysis resistant flexible polyether polyurethane foam. It has 4 different surfaces that you can choose from (ALR、 M、MR、F、P52).

SORBERFOAM is a premium and durable alternative to polyester polyurethane foam, which is traditionally used for sound absorption. It has controlled high flow resistance for maximum sound absorption.

SORBERFOAM is hydrolysis resistant. It is especially suited for use in wet and humid areas. It is particularly suited for use in marine and tropical environments.
